    This virtual exhibition, featuring Scheier pottery, is based on the exhibition previously on view at the Newark Museum. It includes 175 pieces of artist-made studio ceramics from all over the world.

    "Desert Classics: Ceramics in Arizona and Focus on Don Reitz"
    February 5 through April 2, 2005
    Features the ceramic art of the Scheiers along with three other Arizona "stars" in the field of ceramics - Rose Cabat, Don Reitz and Susan Peterson. The Scheiers, who developed their individual styles from the mid-20th century studio pottery tradition, have been contributors to Arizona ceramics since the late 70's.     "100 Treasures of Cranbrook Art Museum"

    The Scheiers' work is included in this exhibit celebrating the centennial of the Cranbrook Educational Community, home to one of the leading art centers in the country. On February 15th, 2004, at 1:OOPM, the Cranbrook Art Museum Education department will present a special "Valentine's Day" screening of Four Hands One Heart: Ed and Mary Scheier, introduced by director Ken Browne.   • NH Public Television "NH Outlook" features the Scheiers
    The nightly NHPTV news show "NH Outlook" featured the work and legacy of Ed and Mary Scheier on their October 13, 2003 telecast. The 10-minute news feature may be viewed online at the show's web site: www.nhptv.org/outlook. VHS copies of the feature may also be ordered from NH Outlook.

  • The Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, NH, has exhibited Scheier work since 1943. It became the largest collector of Scheier work when the gallery recently announced a gift of over 500 works from the Scheiers' personal collection. The gallery has periodic exhibits devoted to the Scheiers, as well as, several pieces in their permanent exhibit. Learn more about the Currier Gallery on the web at www.currier.org.

  • The University Library at the University of New Hampshire, where the Scheiers taught from 1940 to 1960, was one of the first institutions to organize an exhibit of the Scheiers' work.
